cell phone video

i have a phone that takes pics and videos. I can email a pic to myself and open it on the computer with no problem, however, when i email a video windows wont open it because of the format. It has a .3p2 extension and it is to my understanding that you can convert this file to a .wmv to view on the computer with windows media player. Does anybody know a site to get a free download for this conversion? I'm skeptical about what i click on. Thanks
