GOD loves fishermen, the earth is 75% water
My best crappie trip was in N.C. during a t-storm - the closer the storm got , the faster they seemed to bite - we wore 'em out , got soaked to the bone and damn near foze to death in 90 degree temps til the storm passed...ah , what memories.
Went back to Normandy today, weather channel said 7mph out of the south. They got it wrong again the wind was a real bear!! Managed 6 keepers and a lot of shorts.
Wtg Steve. Good day dispite the wind for there I would think. Also, I did hear there was a 4 lb crappie caught and was write up about it in paper. I was told about it but did not see it personally.
Wow, a 4 lb'er! Man that would be on the wall if I caught it. I hope John & I can salvage a few just to be respectful. The fish are there; we just have to find them. Patience my sons......

Hope all goes well for y'all. I think the only reason to call off the tourney would be lightning. Am I right, Mr President? Safety first folks.
