    Exclamation An Annoying Problem... SOLVED!!!

    Hey guys,
I've been having this annoying problem with my Divider boxes.
You know.. The one where you drop the blasted thing and all your hooks decide to go into random compartments.

Well, I have come up with a solution using something that would normally be trash for a better purpose than landfill food..

    Here we go!!

First take your box (this one is for my kids FLW tackle bag)

Next take the whole box and lay it on a Styrofoam doggy box (like you get at the burger joint) and trace the lid out onto it. Then using your knife or a razor blade cut out the plate.

Next, you put the plate in the box and shut the lid. (It wont shut good at first) and SMASH THE CRAP OUT OF IT!!! this makes all the little lines and puts the outline of the actual box insides on the foam. Then you take your knife or razor blade and trim the outside edges to fit the lines you just pressed into the top.. After that you take something and smash the lines you pressed into the foam for the compartments in so that they fit better and the lid closes easier.

then when you shut the lid you get this

    Finished Box..

Go ahead.. turn it upside down and jiggle it.. it works great!

(optionally) You can use some super glue inside the lid if you like to make sure the foam doesn't blow away when the box is open.

P.S. If ya do this trick, let me know what you think of it :D

A lot of times I have found the main reason tackle goes all over the place in those things is because the dividers don't stay down real well... so I have found a few small drops of super glue in the divider sides helps hold them in place better and the tackle stays in it's proper place.

On mine I seemed to be having more of a poorly molded wall issue. they're not as tall as the box perimeter or something and things were going over the tops of the dividers..

I have some old Plano storage box's for spinner parts and I used a piece of cardboard box the same way you did the foam. Works great and I can stick lables on it telling what's in each section

I also super glue the dividers in place. Hooks do not "Escape" under to the next compartment. I may go to the craft store and get some foam (Thin) for the upper lid and try that also. Thanks for this tip.
