    Default Clausers

Little minnow fly came through for me again this year with a limit of crappie today and several nice bluegill to boot. Color du jour was a chartreuse underdressing and a white body. Over the years this thing has cought more crappie for me than any jig or live bait I've tried. Really felt good to feel that tap.

Yeah I do tie my own, don't have photos though. Need to tie some more this evening, me and the wood went around and around the past couple of day and it usually won. If I think about it I'll nab some photos.

Last time I tied I put a little body bulk on it by weaving a white top with a chartreuse underbody, and then dressing with white buck tail in the usual clauser pattern, they were killers, but I only tied two of them so tonight's tying will incude those, or maybe just dub on a little body color.

Personal opinion, but I like the gold dumbell eyes vs. lead eyes. May just be a confidence matter on my part though.
