do a search on trolling crankbaits, and you will see a lot mentioned,
ya'll know I'm one of the first "in" on trying something new, but have one
concern with this: One of the things that I love about trolling cranks is
the repeatable depth control it gives, after you get used to a particular
bait, line weight, amount of line - anything that changes the amount of
drag - jig on a trailer, or this, is gonna drastically affect running depth,
and require "re-calibration" of your depths! Probably nothing a little time
and experimentation can't fix, but something to think about. I envisoned
using the 'brella rigs in a "power trolling" situation, 3-5 ounces of lead in-line
ahead of it, pushing fast (+- 2.0 mph) with the gas motor. Good luck with
it, do all the leg work, and then tell us :D
