Default Got a load of threadfin shad

now, I'm trying to keep them alive till tomorrow afternoon.
Going to go to southern Norman to catch the striped fish. Can't count on Wateree any more. Probably catch catfish, but can't complain, maybe catch some filet size perch, which is fine by me. I'm sure me or Perch jerker35, maybey Whisker Whipper will post our results.

I was dressed in my work outfit, Industrial salesman type dress, when I went down to the shad catching place. There was a fellow was already there with a long dip net and he offered me a big dip of shad. I gladly accepted and was on my way without having to change outfits. Thanks!!

I understand there is a limit on baitfish now? Like 200 shad?
    I don't fish because I want to, I fish because I HAVE to !

    Moma tried real hard.

Racoon, did you get the shad on Norman? If you can share the location, please PM me or post. Would like to have some for the striped ones too

although you can catch the striped ones on threadfins, the striper will eat a herring 10-1 on norman and they live longer in the tank too

I'm purty sure these were all thread fin. Worked great long as you wanted blue cats. Think we got 11 blue cats and 2 18" green carp. How would I know if they was herring??

Its the same shad catching place that I spoke of last spring.

One thing I saw on Norman that I have never seen, a school of shad that was about 30' wide and same as long.
