Have you tried a pellet gun no noise and some of them are extremely powerful. If you own a bow you might try a little target practice on your furry friend. Also with the pellet gun you can keep it for repeat transgressors.

If the coon is just raiding the garbage can, get a better can. if it is living in the attic, then more care will be needed, because of the little ones. Not knowing your situation, I can tell you that exclusion will just give the problem to someone else, which is ok with me and you. If you have had enough of this coon, I would suggest a live trap. Just make sure of any rules or laws where you live. I suggest a live trap from Williams supply. Order a 12 x 12 x 30 cage trap for 38 plus sh. 1 260 672 3721 is the number. bait it with meow mix or a can of tuna and take him for a ride or,,,

get a jar with an opening just large enough for the paw to fit through, put some bait/food inside, and also have the rim of the mouth of the jar lined with sharp nails facing downward. racoon reaches in, grabs food, paw gets rolled into a fist to take food out and then get impaled by the nails. dispatch of it the next day. oh yea, you probably want the mouth of the jar just flush with the ground, and secured tightly, or flush with a wall or something.

Is it possible that your local conservation officer will help you with the problem, here in Indiana we contact the Department of Natural Resources and they will have a conservation officer come out and help with the problem animal just a thought.

So it will be a problem for someone else to have to hire another nuisance trapper to have to take care of it.

Some folks find raccoon rather tasty when prepared properly.

    Raccoon Control | Havahart®

I like raccoons and don't like shooting them. I also don't like them messing with my house, so I have relocated MANY of them to far away places after they spent an evening in my Havahart. Scramble up some eggs and use them as bait. Works like a charm, and they are fun to look at in the traps before you release them.
Good things come to those who bait.
