Nimrod; Thats a good way to catch dinner if the crappie dont bite! Plus it's always a surprise to see what your going to pull out.

When I was a young buck all I ever had a desire for was catfishing. Caught bait in baskets in ponds about three days a week weening out everything except the "perfect sized bait" and there werent many Friday nights that I wasnt on the lake somewhere. I fished bottles (some call 'em jugs, I fished quart Clorex bottles) because I loved seeing a good fish on a bottle, but was also very familiar with trotlines since my buddy loved fishing them. Catfishing definitely puts food on the table and is a great way for plenty of exercise, especially when youre pulling trotlines. Looks like you guys caught some fish and I'll bet you had a great time doing it. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
