Default Reach and Teach the youth about fishing

We all should take the time to reach and teach our youth about fishing before it is too late. They are all eager to learn. Don't make it boring but just reach out to them and show them a few knots and lures to help them catch some fish.

    Default I love my job

This is why I love my job...youth minister. I love the outdoors, especially this time of year. I take kids with me all the time. It is a way to get kids out doing something that they might not have done ever before.

But, I have started a new Outdoor Fellowship Ministry here at the church, and I'm looking forward to fall, when I am going to try to get the older men in the church to take some of the kids here fishing for a couple of days. God's people sharing God's creation and God's love with each other.

But, don't ever sell these kids short. You may be teaching them something, but if you hang out with them long enough, you will find that they are intelligent, and if you listen, you will learn something, too.

Keep up the good work...these kids are worth it.

Ship - Thank you for your work with kids!!!
It's adults like you, who volunteer their time to teach or mentor kids, that will keep the kids you influence from becoming the kind of "bad news" that we hear on the news all the time.

It's an awesome thing you're doing - Kudos!

    Keep at it.

There should be more men like you willing to do this! You should be proud.
