    Default Badin stripers 4/19

I headed back out Sun. afternoon to pull some leadcora at Badin and just kill time really. It ended up being a banner day for me. I put 14 in the boat and should have had about 25 in the boat. bucktails and sassy shads on the east arm of the lake. Fun day on the water for sure. fished from 3:30-dark. typical Badin size fish from 4-7 lb. My arms were almost sore from pulling 'em in on the leadcore. That stuff will wear you out.

Nice catch. How deep were you pulling the bucktails and what was the water temp if you noticed. Patterns may be setting up on other lakes

    Default conditions

I was pullint them 8-15 feet deep and the wate was 60-65 depending on where you were at. The fish were on points and humps that topped out anywhere from 18-25 ft. If you marked a good school, you were sure to have a bent rod. Headed back with the boys this weekend.

    Thumbs up

Headed to Badin Friday. Last time I was on Badin was 1974. At that time I lived in New London and worked at the Federal Pacific Electric plant. Looking forward to seeing the lake after all these years and hopefully catching a few stripers. Anyone around I am in a white 20 foot CC with the SC Crappie decal on the right stern side. Snoopy dog decals on both sides. Have radio on channel 69....call is snoopy 2. I guess we will put in at the main landing at Badin if that is the best landing. Never been to Old Whitney landing but can find it for sure if its a better landing....advice welcome.
