I have been looking for info on spider rigging may attempt to try it sometime. Do any of you have any links for the mechanics of it, like weight size , distance from weight to hook , boat speed ,how many hooks ? any of this would help. Thanks Brian

A book by Tim Huffman called "Winning crappie secrets" is about Ron Capps and Steve Coleman and their use of spider rigging to win crappie tournaments. Lots of info.

I would call Tony Edgar at Edgar outdoor sports. 1-573-378-2220 He is located in Versalies,MO.
He is very good at it with many years experience. He is willing to share info.
Not sure how much useful info you will get at BPS.
There are a couple sponsors on here that sell rod holders cheaper than BPS, Monks and extreme fishing concepts. I bought rigs from both, great guy's. I agree with coyote, I have 3 of Tim's books, all good reads.

Just got back from BPS wow this is gonna get expensive for spider riggin. Ranger do you have the CDC guys email or anything them BPS rigs are pricey! I would rather buy from real people than corporate america (BPS).

As far as poles, check out Grizzlys new catalog. On the back cover, the have trolling rod combos already loaded with hi viz 6# line. $15 for telescopic and $20 for the 2 piece. You can't beat those prices for those combos
