    Default Ready to go fishin..........


    Lost my mom to old age yesterday morning. Sat with her the last 3 days in nursing home. I don't have much of a bed side manor. Whole thing stresses a feller out. I figure that is what fishing is all about!! I'm ready..........

    Sorry to hear about your Mom, Buckwheat...I'm sure she's grateful to have spent her last few days with you by her side, even though it was stressful for you. But fishing is about as good a place as any to reflect and reminisce in times like this. It worked for me when I lost my dad last year. Almost every time I get out on the water at some point thoughts of him cross my mind and I smile.
