Default new banks to look at

i am considering fishing either rocky fork, paint creek, or cowan this week just for a new adventure, i usally fish eastfok just due to the fact its close and quick for me, but i might have a little extra time this week to try out some new water, any advice out there for either of these three lakes? i fish a small trolling powered john boat (thats slow) so i would need to put in some what close to good fishing, i did check out the lake maps on the DNR web site but havenet been to any of the three since i was a kid, any advice would be awesome. stay safe out there all and God bless!!!

Lots of dinks at Cowan, I would call the park office before I went there and checked on the water levels. It's been low and you couldn't launch a boat, it could be up now but I would check before going over there. Do you have any electronics? Theres a big drop off out from the ramps that's a good starting point. It's a fun lake to fish for numbers but if you're looking for size I would try Paint Creek. If you go to Paint, I would go before this heavy rain hits. That lake seems to raise pretty quick after a good rain. Y-Slabs could probably help you with where to go.
