    Default Took the kids fishin'

It was fun,............ sorta' 6 niece/nephew combo on the bank, no minnows. Needless to say we caught no fish. Spent a lot of time un-hooking snags and got better at tying knots and skipping rocks.
Yea, just venting looking at yer catch pics and stuff...

Yep, but I think I need to keep it one on one or two, all 6 was too much, hence the "skipping" rocks part :D

Good job with the kidletts. More grown ups should do the same. Keep it up!

I can't imagine trying to juggle 6 of them you're a braver man than I am. Good job though on trying to get them interested in fishing.

Springfork Lake is now open again. The DOC just had a lot of good work put into it's facilities. I can't wait to get out there. Think I may have to hit it some morning this week. You should try it, rugs.

If I remember, that is the lake south east of Sedallia? I have stopped by there a year ago and it wasn't closed. A guy I work with said they used to rent boats there many years ago, but I didn't see anything like that, only the floating dock.
I would like to try it, but it seemed like you would really need a boat.
I have an electric motor, but not a boat. You can PM me about any info you have or if you want to get together there sometime, and I won't bring all 6 of the kids, probably a couple of the older ones

Sounds like a plan. I'll let you know when the bite is on. I caught hundreds of crappie and big gills there last summer. Also caught some very large redears.
