Fished monroe on sat. the 22nd. Got 5 crappie from 1.89 lbs to 1.2 threw the rest back. Damn cold fronts. Very cold saturday morning. Bluegills where starting to bite. Fished roadrunners with black and chartruese stingers

started out fishing blowdowns, thats where i started catching them after an hour or two of small ones, then when to some deep standing timber and never could really establish a pattern they just quit biting for me

Went Sunday cuaght fish on every cast with a jig with orange head and a kalin tenn shad body. Most fish were small but kept 25 between 8-11.5 inches. I found Only 2 Fish with eggs .Looks like about 2 weeks if weather holds.
