Mozingo?

Hey all,

Has anyone fished Mozingo lately? Did you do any good? I have heard great things about that lake, but have never fished it. I will be up that way this weekend.

My brother and I went up sunday. There was 3/8 ice at the ramp but there was open water. A bass boat went out first and we fallowed his trail to open water. We caught 75 fish. We kept 25 from 10 to 13 and1/2. The fish were still on the big brush piles. We caught our fish 13 to 15 ft deep on the brush that come out og 26 to the 17ft ledges.That lake black and chartruece are good and orange and yellow. Never used minnow on that lake.You don't have to.
Good lake..... Water was 36 to 39 that day. Hope this helps

fished one brushpile there last year. had limit in 1 hr. on 2 doz.minnows.
