    Default LOZ Big Niangua 3/16/09

Caught them before 11:00 and not a single bite after that. They were in 10 ft of water. Caught majority on red/char. slab buster. Water was 50 deg. Was a cold start but nice not having any wind.

    Very nice job. Congrats

    Cjones,

Nice job. It slowed down big time for us about that time too. Got a few after that but much slower. We could not get a depth pattern figured out. Caught some good quality fish anywhere from 20FOW down 10' over brush, up to a nice 12 1/2" black that the boat was in 6' and he was in about 3 feet of water.

Got a couple of pictures, but didn't get them posted.

    Again WTG!

Like you said mark, it seems like they are anywhere from 20-3 ft of water. About a week ago I caught fish every place I hit and this time only 2 out of 10 or so structures produced but the quality of fish was a lot better. It will only get better especially if we can get some consistant weather. You can tell spring is here, the boat traffic has tripled since the last time I was out. Good Luck.
