    Default Below Truman Yet?

Last year was the first time I fished below Truman (from the bank) and had some really good fishing.......but that was in late April and May.

My brother-in-law is coming up this weekend and I was wondering if any of you guys thought it might be worth it to try below the dam yet?

Should be but I don't think much is happening there yet, water flow has been very inconsistant and weather hasn't helped. I had a friend that fished there Sunday and Monday afternoon caught some crappie, white bass, couple small walleyes he was fishing out of a boat using various jigs. Don't think there was much a pattern to anything.

Yeah, they were letting it out big time. I thought maybe they might this weekend with the rain we got earlier in the week?

It has been hit or miss from what I hear. But should be running some water this weekend which will help.

I can't wait for the slack water channel to start up. Man, that was a good time last Spring. I believe it was April, wasn't it, Jared?

I'll let you know when it heats up, Jeffie. You know there is room in my boat for you any time. Since I work nights, I usually fish mornings when they are biting down there. As long as I'm off the water by 1300 I'm ok.
