    Default Let the games begin.

Got out yesterday and today... Still feels like I'm out in the wind. Great days on the water. Added bonus was I caught some fish.. Crappie hitting light on Chart/white jig tipped with a minnow. Seemed like all different depths. No pattern. Just great to be out and fishing.
The structure I put out on Fowler Park Lake while the ice was on is now down and holding fish.. now is when all the hard work pays off. Those fishing Fowler are welcome to fish this structure. I'll leave them all marked for quite a while. Myself and the Park Supt. have maps and video of the new structure.

I'd like to post photos, but can't figure out the attachment deal.
I've uploaded my photo, but it won't post. Any help will be appreciated.

Are you using Photobucket to upload your photos? If so, it's pretty easy to explain.

Default Photo re-sizing for upload to Crappie. com

Hey, thanks for the help on re-sizing photos to upload.
To all who are having trouble with this I recommend using this online photo resizer and crop. This is an easy to us application that is FREE. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

    Default Sullivan Lake?

    Chuck
I've only been out twice, both times to Fowler, so I can't give you any report on Sullivan Lake. I plan on going over to Marshall, IL and fishing Lincoln Train Park Lake. Really looks good, but have never wetted a line there.
Seems as though our paths have crossed before. Perhaps when you lived in Terre Haute. I worked for Sears and retired in 2001. Ring any bells with you?
Then weather took a big dip last night. Today only in the mid 30's. Thurs. is suppose to be colder yet. Oh well, the ice is off and I'm putting fish in the freezer again, a true sign of Spring.
