back before time began i used to raise bassets. i had one dog and 6 ladies. best payday i ever had i had about 30 pups ready to sell one year. they was six weeks or so a week before christmas when i run a add in three newspapers and sold em all in three days. something about basset pups that melts peoples hearts, especially just before christmas. :D.
