    Default House Bill HR 45

    All,

    I KNEW it was coming.

This bill has been introduced, "under the radar", while the mainstream media and this administration and Congress have been diverting our attention with the "Porkulus" bill. It is for real and you can read about it on the first link, below. We need to get this one stopped!!

You can also Google under "HR 45 Blair Holt" to get other sites about the bill.

Alert everyone you know who believes in the U.S. Constitution and, specifically, the Second Amendment right of the individual to keep and bear arms (see the Heller Decision of the U.S. Supreme Court, decided last year...the "Supremes" affirmed this right).

OpenCongress - U.S. Congress - H.R.45 Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009

Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009. We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program.

Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar. To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of
2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

    *It is registered.
    *You are fingerprinted.
*You supply a current Driver's License.
*You supply your Social Security #.
*You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any
    time of their choosing.
*Each update - change or ownership through private or
public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to
do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm
and are subject up to a year in jail.
*There is a child provision cla use on page 16 section 305
stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked
and inaccessible to any child under 18.

They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your
pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family - pass this along.

This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.

This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not. If you take my gun, only the criminal will have one to use against me.

A little about the author of the bill, Bobby Rush:

In 1968 he went AWOL and co-founded the gangster-ridden Illinois branch of the Black Panther Party (BPP), renowned for intimidating local business people into making “donations” to Panther “charities.” One BPP member recruited by Rush was Fred Hampton, who was killed in a December 4, 1969 police raid on Panther headquarters....

In 1969 Rush served six months in jail for an illegal-weapons conviction and, even after his release, in 1971 his comrades were still describing him as the "Deputy Minister of Defense" for the BPP's Illinois chapter....

Rush is also among the staunchest congressional supporters of gun control. He has proposed legislation that would regulate the sale and purchase of bullets. “Ultimately, I would like to see the manufacture and possession of handguns banned,” said Rush, “…that's the endgame....”

I don't think it will fly. I'd like someone to define what an assault weapon is? Hell, I thought with any gun if one uses it for it unintended purpose is an assault weapon......I don't know,I think it is a dead duck

Default Satire is funniest when it's VERY close to the truth ...

Justice Department to force criminals to register illegal guns

    By Scott Ott

Scrappleface: News fairly unbalanced. We report. You decipher

In an effort to reduce gun violence nationwide, Attorney General Eric Holder said today that the Obama administration will reinstate the Clinton-era assault weapons ban that expired in 2004, adding new provisions to make it even more effective at saving lives.

Under the revised rules, people who intend to commit crimes with stolen guns, for example, will first need to register those weapons with the federal government.

"Guns don't kill people," said Mr. Holder, "Unregistered, stolen guns kill people. Once we have a list of all of the guns owned by potential criminals, it will be much easier to track down the origin of a weapon that's been used in a robbery or murder."

The Justice Department plans to open illegal gun registration kiosks in pawn shops, urban parking garages and abandoned buildings in high-profile locations to make the registration process "as easy and painless as possible."

In addition to the registration requirement, the definition of 'assault weapon' has been expanded to include not only certain semi-automatic guns with pistol grips, large magazines, silencers or collapsible stocks, but any weapon that can be used to assault another person.

"About 14 percent of murderers use knives," the Attorney General said. "Another five percent kill with blunt objects, and 11 percent with other weapons. The way to stop all of this, of course, is to compile a database at the federal level of all sharp kitchen utensils, hand tools, belts, lengths of rope, hangers, pillows and other potentially-deadly weapons."

President Barack Obama has said he agrees with the Supreme Court's D.C. vs. Heller decision which asserted that the Second Amendment to the Constitution guarantees an individual right to "keep and bear arms."

"The president is fully behind the Heller decision," said Mr. Holder, "and he also supports common-sense laws to prevent any practical application of that ruling. All we're trying to do now is to eliminate the discriminatory distinction between so-called law-abiding citizens and the rest of us."
