    Question Fishfinder Question


    My friend gave me his old Lowrance X45 fishfinder and I plan to put it on the front of my boat. My question is can I hook it to one of the batteries on my 24v trolling system or do I need to run a wire to the back of the boat to the single 12v battery used to start the boat? Thanks in advance.

    i would not use my trolling motor battery. to much chance for interfearence .

    I Would Use The Starting Battery And Use A Low Amp In Line Fuse....be There Done That......
