Yadkin River 02/27/09

Not a bad day for fishing, very little sun, a little cool, a little rain and a little wind. The wind did change to ''lets blow your @$$ out of the boat'' before I left. Water was a little dirty and 44*. I caught 40 crappie before I called it quits when the wind and rain got to be more than I wanted to take. The trip went fine until loading the boat. Nothing like slipping on the front of the boat and catching your privates on the trolling motor on the way down. I got some relief when my Goretex rain gear finally tore and I busted my butt on the trailer tongue. Glad nobody was around to laugh at me cause at the time wasn't a damn thing funny. Here is a few pics I took before it started raining.

Any keepers? I would have loved to see you hanging by your gonads from the trolling motor. But don't you just love it when you look around and nobody saw you?

Good day fishing. you still trolling?

I know what it feels like when bad things happen, but I couldn't help laughing at your misfortune. Hope nothing is injured badly.
Last year my older brothers were in town fishing. First, one threw his keys toward the windshield in my boat, missed completey and right into 18' of water. Later he slipped and fell into the water. The other brother broke one of my seats with his fat behind and ended up dropping his brand new rod and reel in the lake. I laughed alot that day!
