Seen a thread from Ohio that said they caught 100-120 white crappies, in muddy water, 14'-30', boat in 5'-9' of water. on 2-15-09. Take it for what it's worth comin' from a Buckeye!

i'm new to the site here and would like some help in catching more fish, so much so i bought me a marcum lx-3 sonar. Are we going to see more ice on the water, enough to do some more ice fishing up north in Steuben County? All the ice at the Wabash river is gone and i tried to catch some crappie in this very muddy water with no luck anyone have any ideas?
I don't think you will see any more ice for this year, at least not thick enough to get out on.
