    Default Mice in boat question

Anyone know how to keep mice out of a boat? I have tried the bounce sheets and my osage county mice love them. Didn't work. I tried traps and poison. I read to put spearmint drops in the compartments which I have not tried. Anyone have any other ideas?

Use spearmint oil. I use in the air box on my 4 wheeler, the mice used to nest in the air box, it solved the problem fast. I use it my boat and shed with great results as well. I put the oil on cotton balls and leave them behind. For the air box on the quad I just dropped a few drops into it.

I second the month balls.Might take alittle airing out in the spring, but they do work on almost all critters.

I had about an oh, three or three and a half foot chicken snake that
used to live in one of my boats - worked real good as long as I didn't
know he was there. But after the night fishing trip where he came out
to see what I was doing... :D

Thanks guys. My Austrailian shepard don't like cats. He's my squirrel dog, mole killer, and watch dog. As for the snake, kinda tried that. Went to get my rods out of the boat one day which was leaning up on my cooler and there was a 5 ft black snake wrapped around them. I normally don't kill black snakes but he had to go. Hey Boomhauer, where do you buy that spearmint oil? Thanks again, Dave
