got it at wal mart in the grocerie dept.just sprey it on . will have to be transfered ti a sprey bottle . mist it on and let it sit . may take 2 bottles . tried wipping and didnt do as good

moose i put it on the boat left it foir a while .but it is fiberglass . then i rinsed it off with a water hose. it probabley not full strength . it is to be used on color fast fabrick.

That explains it then. Fiberglass is resistant to most strong acids. My boat is aluminum and it will eat up aluminum in a hurry.

Did it take any paint off the boat?

We have been using that stuff for years but I never tried it on my boat. We are on well water and even with a softener we have a lot of rust type problems on the sinks and other porclain things. Whink is by far the best we've found yet for cleaning stuff like that.

Folks,

Try Oxyclean on your boat for stain removal. It's active ingrediant is sodium percarbonate and is not harmful like acid. I've found it works very well on cleaning my boat and removing stains. If you have a tough stain use some Barkeepers Friend (available at Kroger's or Walmart) and it will come off. It's active ingrediant is oxalic acid, so you don't want to leave it on too long or you will etch your gel coat.
