    Default Public campgrounds on Tablerock


    anyone know of any good camp grounds on Tablerock? looking for some primitive area where i can go for a nice weekend and set up the tent

    not sure exactly what you are seeking, but we have camped (pitched our tent) at Cape Fair and the campgrounds there are pretty nice. We mostly camp at Truman - and both Roark and Bucksaw camp grounds are great.

    cape fair is great place but if you want an out of the way spot eagle rock has a good state camp ground. laid back as heck boat dock close good fishing area bank or boat.
    viola has some good camping and good fishing bank or boat also, get on the web site for mo. camp grounds and look arround.

    I go to Campbell Point a couple of times a year and camp and it is pretty nice place in my opinion.
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
