    Smile Crappie.com Article Contest - Winner gets a free Humminbird GPS/Fishfinder 383c

Let the games begin. Starting now, here in February I will be placing random contests online. I will be giving products away from our sponsors. So keep an eye on the main crappie fishing message board.

    OK, here's the first contest.

Provide me an original Crappie Fishing related article. Non-professional, no pro-writers. 500 word minimum, with at least two pictures included. Provide this to me before the end of March 2009. I will create a poll, and the winner of the poll will receive the following:

A brand new Color GPS Fish Finder from our wonderfull sponsor HUMMINBIRD.

Email your article to me at [email protected]

As a standard disclaimer to avoid arguments, I reserve the right to change rules, or be the final decision maker on all counts. I'm just trying to give away free stuff as fair as possible.

Keep an eye on the site for the next two months (and maybe longer depending on how long the prizes last). Some contests will simply be who-ever replies first to a post. Or who ever can find a specific link on the site. It'll be easy, and fun.

Wow, I just looked this up, it's a $400 fish finder. Sounds like a real nice fish finder. Anyone have any experience with one?

I have a buddy that put one on his boat last year. Aside from the small screen it's a good little unit. I was especially impressed with how accurate the gps was. We marked some spots and then tried to go back to them. It was right on. I believe it has dual beam transducer also.

Soldiers and Firefighters. Some people were meant to call 911, Some were meant to BE 911

It says "Crappie Fishing related" ... so, I'd say either or (but, you might want to PM "Slab" for a definite answer (if he doesn't reply to your question, on this thread).

It can be any type article as long as it's crappie fishing related. How to or story type. More pictures the better, you are not limited to two pics.

Email the stories to me, so that you can attach pictures, at [email protected]

Popularity contest, hmm, I really don't want it to be a popularity contest, I want the best article to win. I would hope that the members would feel that way also and would vote that way. Don't forget, I also have more prizes, and I can change the rules. Please have some trust in me, I will try to make sure things are as fair as possible.

With all my writin' expertise and all these Mississippi stories this is a no-brainer.

As Larry Bird always said, when in the locker room before the 3-point shooting contest, "It looks like all of you need to figure out who is going to be second".

    sarc/off :D:D
