Looks like good mess. Just nice to see some crappie again.
So Drew and i scratched it.......
We managed to get to my wintertime honeyhole and had to break about an inch of ice to get a jig to em and they we're slow till i figured out what they wanted, they were as confined to one spot about 1' square and suspended 15' over 25' and when i say 15' i mean 15' not 15'6" or 14' 5" it took a while to get em to bite but once i got the spot and depth it was every drop, the funny part about it is we caught em off a marina dock that has about 30 slips on it and i have brush in about half of em but these fish came from a slip that has no brush whatsoever..........pictured is half of our 30 Drew's hands got cold putting them on the stringer:rolleyes:of course that was nothing new he whined all mornin about being cold,i finally gave in to his snivilling and left fish biting i'd say we could have culled to a better stringer but for the conditions i'm happy with 10"-12" fish.

Can't really tell you we walked a dock.........but since there was an inch of ice i'd suspect 32 or less on the surface.
