    Default Yadkin River 01-28-09

Almost a repeat performance from yesterday. Caught a few more and bigger than yesterday. Bigger fish wanted the bigger baits. Water was the same temp just a little dinghier. Final count, 26 crappie and 2 white perch. All were caught on jigs with tubes, curl tails, both or shads
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Are you fishing the Yadkin where it flows into High Rock or further upstream?

Not bad at all. I wish the fish would bite at Falls. I think I forgot how to catch one.

I normally fish up and down river within a mile of the I-85 bridge.

Nat, reckon this rain will color the water much coming down the river? It rained pretty hard here for about an hour. I was thinking about going tomorrow.
