    Default Bass Pro Shops

Just got back from BPS in Nashville. Got the copilot system for my new Terrova TM. Already put it on and it sure works good in the garage. Do you guys use the rod holders for the remote or the wrist band. Also bought one of those face shields for cold weather running. Makes me look like a fat star wars trooper but feels like it will keep face warm. Wife was great about cost so I took her to dinner at Amerigo. Life is good.

The holders that attach to the rod work great. You free thumb does all the work. Congrats, you will love it.

    Default Foot Pedal

I do not use the wireless keypad! The wireless keypad becomes an 8 speed trolling motor, only slightly better than a 5 speed. I had to buy a foot pedal to get the infinite speed contol. With the foot pedal, you can "dial up" the desired speed.

wrist band with my luck if I put it on one of the rod holders I'd throw it in the lake with the first cast.

I used so-called "neckgator". I could pull it up to cover up half of my face while it's too cold and windy.......

The only time I use that remote is when I'm shooting docks. It is attached to my dock rod. I love it as when I'm shooting docks it seems that I'm running back and forth on my boat anyway and to have that little sucker in my hand works great for me. I tryed it around my neck but you have to to grab it with my other hand and fumble a bit. This way it is only 2 inches from my thumb when it is attached to my rod

I have mine on a neck lanyard as well..

I also mounted one of the rod atachments on one of my steering wheel spokes. I like to sit at the console looking at the 1197 and control the TM.
