I received this by email
THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENING A LITTLE MORE...
They probably will not take your guns.
Well, it seems that the anti-gun world will have no problem with taking your ammo!
A bill that is being pushed in 19 states: Alabama, Arizona, Indiana, California , Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacturer in a data base of all ammunition sales.
They will then know how much you buy and what calibers.
Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.
Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011 - (Including hand-loaded ammo).
They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!
If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!
To find more about the anti-gun group that is sponsoring this legislation and the specific legislation for each state, go to:
Legislation
I took this from the State of Arizona's pages
B. BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2011, A "PRIVATE CITIZEN" OR A RETAIL VENDOR SHALL DISPOSE OF ALL NONCODED AMMUNITION THAT IS OWNED OR HELD BY THE CITIZEN OR VENDOR.
I added the quotes and the underline.
Hopefully this will Wake Up CITIZENS to take action by screaming at the top of their lungs to their idiot representatives and senators who are pushing this bill.
You may want to forward this to all on your email list.
