Always hate to hear about things like that. With the water as cold as it is now you dont last long in it I imagine. Lucky they atleast saved one person.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.

This is the latest update from local tv station..

    LAUREN ADAMS

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY - Sunday afternoon, the recovery effort for three juveniles continued in Marshall County, Kentucky.

Saturday afternoon, a boat carrying four juveniles capsized while the group was duck hunting on Kentucky Lake near Little Bear Highway. Emergency crews found one survivor who is recovering at a local hospital.

Search and rescue workers suspended the search for the other three Saturday night because of cold temperatures and water conditions which could harm divers and rescuers.

"At that point we couldn't keep the water out of the boats for the rescue people," Marshall County Rescue Squad Chief Carl Curtner told Local 6.

The effort was re-launched Sunday morning as a recovery effort.

"I know they're young. And physical conditions? Miracles do happen and we hope for them at all times. Somebody found a sandal and (we) got excited. Obviously, it was dry rotted on the bank, summertime, probably fell out of somebody's pontoon boat," Curtner added.

Even so, emergency crews are working unfazed. Teams with horses and four wheelers are combing the shore lines. They did find a dog rescue crew members believe was onboard the boat when it capsized.

Finding the dog might not be a big discovery, but workers said it gave them hope.

"With the dog on the shore, there's a possibility we could encounter the individuals we're searching for also. We keep the faith and keep the hope this will turn out good," Curtner said.

Local 6 spoke with the family of the some of the young men still missing. They told us they refuse to give up. In fact, they told us despite crews calling off the search last night, family and friends continued searching through the night. Also, one family member is bringing in several horses to help in the search

Man, that is bad. Make sure that none of you end up like this. If the wind gets up on you get to the nearest bank and park it.
