I also live in Indiana never have done any real winter time fishing for crappie. Tell me it is real good in the winter time.
Just wanted to say hello to everyone! Here for you, to give bad advice and tell bigger lies! I appreciate the advice last spring on the boating and safety things. It was almost an error free year. LOL Well, it's that dreaded winter time in Indiana and there's no one fishing or golfing! So I guess I have to stay in and tell lies till the crappie and mushrooms get going again!
Caught so many fish today my thumb is sore from clicking the counter.

To Whom Much Is Given, Much Is Required
They still have to eat in the winter time. You guys come on over to southwest Ohio. Plenty of us still fishing and catching. Just got 60 plus today. 18-25 mph wind, 30 degrees, cloudy, muddy water. If they be caught in those conditions here, winter can't be all bad there. Patoka would seem to be a decent winter lake. It's a lot bigger, but similar in cover and topography to the lake I fish here most of the time.
