    Smile Berkley baits

The baits in a tub have been out for awhile. ( minnow and leach ) What is your opinion of them? I am thinking about trying them but being cheap I want other opinions from folks that really fish. Thanks Lonnie

I have tried them, 2" Curly Tail. The only time I have broke them out is when the bite was really slow, I didn't see any difference.

I hear they are so so I like you would be intrested in knowing how others found them to be.

Caught fish right before the Crapppiemaster tourny on Truman with them. I used them tipped behind a 3"Bobby Garlond Slab Slayer. Makes for a nice big profile when your after the big fish. The ones I use are the 3" minnow and black shiner is the color I believe. Caught lots of fish that day. But I was fishing in the back of a boat with one of the best and in some very productive areas.

I have caught fish drop shotting with the 3" minnow. It's a good rig when fishing at certain depths from the bottom. I won't put down my Slab Busters or BG Slab Slayrs to fish them tho.

I don't like the taste, but they are tolerable with a Ritz cracker. (Everything is better when it sits on a Ritz)
