    Default Cataract 11/16

Lake pulled 3' to winter pool. Water lightly stained and 51 degrees. Wind 12-20 mph severely limited where we could fish. Fish were scattered but biting in 3'-18' of water. No big groups that we could find but enough off each spot to fill out our limit. Tube jigs were the bait of choice today.

I've been wanting to go down but I'm not going to fight the wind.

Weather is looking good for another run myself on Sunday. Would love to hit Geist or Morse, but Cataract is half as close and the bite has been pretty darn good this year after the lake finally got back down. Plus it don't hurt that I have about 100+ stumps/brushpiles marked on GPS out there :D

I live a minute from Morse's boat launch, so its hard not to fish it, plus I know it pretty well now after a couple hundred trips over the last 4 years . If you ever head this way, let me know, and I will get you on the right pattern no problem. Good luck on Sunday! I should be out as well.
