    Default Brookville

Fished Brookville today, just to prove (to myself ) that fish bite on cold fronts. We caught around 50 fish in a few hours. We caught some fish in 4' of water with a jig and float the rest come casting a jig along laydowns. The wind and rain blew the whole time, for a while it was a wintry mix. The fish didn't seem to mind. Water temp was 52 degrees. Good luck if you get a chance and get out.

"Ok Guys I wake up here at work ("Don't ask?") and the first thing I see is
    that salt comment again."

"If you guys really went out today ...you're just plain mean, dressed really warm, or
just to old to feel your cold feet …"

    Last week:
I caught 19, and kept 8 decent crappie. All out of the first big cove on the left above
the "No wake buoys" all in about 2 feet of water.

It was starting to get dark, and I wanted to see the north side of the lake, so I cut my
    fishing short that evening.

"Man I gotta buy a map to learn the names, and locations of everything... or you guys
    could just explain,

"What is a causeway anyway? Ah nevermind, I'll just look it up on Google."

    "Great fishing, and be safe!"

I may take'em up on the offer sometime, but if I remember from my chidlhood, my dad
would pic my up, throw in me in the briars, and then tell me, your the Beagle, now kick'em up!
After some of the things I've written on here, I'm wonderin if they might have the same thing in mind with the Crappie?

    SPLASH!

"Now find then Crappie there Ref. Hey, swim over to that laydown, an look under'em!
limbs, Com'on ya old fart, we ain't got all day, now find them Crappie!"

First clean clance I get I'll let ya know when I can sneak out to one of the lakes, and
I do very much appreciate the offer... thanks guys.
