Looks like a neat trick!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Here's a trick a fella showed me recently. Here is a regular 1/16 oz X 1/0 jig w/ barb and pink powder painted head. I took needle nose plyers and bent down the hook behind the barb of the lead head, so the hook point is still higher than the center line of the jig. Pictures tell a better story.

IF YOU'RE FISHIN ON CREDIT, YOU'D BETTER SWITCH TO DEBIT!!!
Looks like a simple way to make a regular jighead weedless.
Great Idea!
Kewl, thanks
cool idea, I'm just wondering if you'd tear the crappie's mouth when you set the hook??? Other than that looks great

I used the slider heads for a short time, they work good but you had to set the hook harder.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night will keep me from crappie fishing!
