Thanks, Fatboy. I've been out of town & have just gotten back to the computer. That looks like a neat arrangement for your transducer. Did you make the metal bracket or can you buy them already made up?

A while back you were wanting a pic of the bracket i had on my trolling motor that I had my transducer mouted to the shaft with, here ya go.

Where'd you get it, Fatboy. It's pretty slick.
The guy who does my boat repair work had it laying around his shop. Said he has installed dozens of them. I had never seen one like that before this one. It sure keeps from getting the transducer ripped off.
That bracket is a Johnny Ray product. I'm putting one on my new boat (that I'm supposed to finally pick up tomorrow). They have some other neat products too.
