    Default Lake Norman report

First stop, my go to honey hole for stripers on lake norman. First bait hits the water at 0630. TONS of bait but no stripers. Moved to honey hole number 2, tons of bait... one perch (who later became bait) and a 3 lb spotted bass

Went 13 miles up lake to a spot the guy in the bait store said was "Red hot".. one tiny catfish...

Moved back down lake to my #1 go to when all else fails spot... First bait down, 2lb spotted bass, followed by a 3 lb spotted bass...

Then, a whopping 17 inch crappie (easily over 2 lbs, maybe close to 3lbs I guess??), followed by a 26 inch striper, more spotted bass, a couple perch and catfish.

Finally, ended the day at my favorite spot on the entire lake.

Caught a few perch and a Largemouth that I estimate at almost 8lbs, she was 24 inches long and fat!

Final tally for the day.. 1 striper, 1 crappie, 6 catfish, 7 perch and 7 bass

Boat back on trailer at 1830

i got a bass tracker....look in the SC section under wateree, and bearclaw posted a good pic of it. This time of year i spend 90% of my time fishing above the bridge, and in the dead of winter ill fish between #13 up to 150
