Sounds like you two had a blast out there. I was on Wylie on Saturday afternoon from 2pm until about 6pm and could only round up a few crappie all 3 just under 9 inches, 1 was 11 and one that was a nice slab 13 inches, threw them all back though. I looked and looked but had the hardest time finding them. I also tried to locate some docks but could not find any that were in water deeper than about 8 or 9 feet. Ive been loading at copperhead landing and usually work my way north on the NC side of the lake. What parts have you been fishing? I am still pretty new to the lake only fished on it 4 times, any pointers sure would help.

HD3 where are Seven Oaks and South Fork in relation to copperhead landing. I am still pretty much clueless as to what is what. I appreciate the help though.

10-4 on that fishcrazy--dad took me and got me spoiled,,so i,m just returning the favor,,and it kept me outta trouble,,until the girls started calling when i turned 16...gottagofishn--we put in at south point in belmont--but from copperhead,,,think u come out and go back rt--away from the buster boyd bridge--heading north--7oaks will be on the left--has a smalllll island to the right of entrance--you,ll see a bridge looking back in there..South fork river is the next cove on the left..It runs pretty far as its a river that dumps in--i think--only made it so far..but theres a bridge about half-way in there too---and theres a hot-hole water discharge back in there,,not sure how often they run it though--usually mid dec..anyways hope it helps..

Sure do appreciate it HD3. I know exactly were you are talking about. Have run past both of them a couple times but never ventured into either. I may try to give them a shot this coming Friday. Thanks again...
