Weiss Lake Trip

My father and I are going to be down that way next week for a few days. We have been down numerous times in the past and fished with a guide, but this time we will be bringing our own boat. Does anyone have any good advice for where we should start. We will be staying at the Alabama Belle and going out from there. From what I have gathered we will attempt trolling over structure and along the channel edge. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is a post just below yours about weiss lake. That info runs true even here in south ga. it worked great for me yesterday.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping someone could be little more specific on which part of the lake to start on. We were thinking about starting down by the dam. Is this a good place to start?

try out of Bay Springs on the river ledges in about 14 ft. Look for brush piles on the ledges and bottom bounce them
