    Default High Rock 10/01/08

Morning started out cold and foggy. Water was 73*. The better fish were caught early in the day with no big slabs caught at all. Alot of 8''-10'' fish. Final tally, 60 crappie, 6 green carp and 1 white perch. Hot lure of the day, 1/16 oz 1.5 electric red/ pearl tube.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Hey ncnat, I've got a question for you, or anyone who can help me out. How do you fish your tube jigs? What kind of rod do you use? I have never fished with tubes before, and would like to find out how. Thanks.

PJ, For myself, I like to use a 1/32 oz head (unpainted) then about a foot or so above put on a swivel with a bullet sinker.
