Smile Tuesday Sept. 30 High Rock

Finally got out in river about 10am to do some trolling. After 15 minutes, one 10" crappie, the battery running my tolling motor was dead. Went across lake to try casting a jig at a high spot with no luck. Then went to one of my brush piles where I caught a couple more 10"ers and a few throw backs. So progressed to 2nd brush pile where the bite really came alive. In about an hour I had my limit. Started out with about all of'em between 9" -11", no big ones though. Then they started getting smaller. So after culling some the smallest ones, I ended up with a limit of 10 -11 inchers. The bamboo was in 18' of water off a point in a creek. They hit a green and white tube jig stuffed with crappie nibbles on a blue 1/32oz jig fished with yellow 4lb suffix elite. Guess I gotta get a new trolling motor battery cause I know I put a charge on it.
