Sorry Guys, but sewage treatment plants have been doing this for years. Every time there is a deluge and waste water treatment plants can't handle the normal load of sewage as well as the influx of rain in the storm sewer system, it is open the gates and let her go. As bad as this is, it is no where near as bad as the mercury and other metal contaminants released into our creeks, rivers, and lakes by American industry over the last 100 years.
