taking my 6 year old son down to weiss this weekend we are staying at a campground next to yellow creek, hoping this cooler weather has them turned on some, any tips or pointers about this area of the lake ,or just a good depth to start at, shallow, deep etc,,thanks

I suspect the Yellow Creek area to be experiencing much the same results as the Little River area. Check out how the guys at JR's Marina are putting fish in the boat : Weiss Lake Fishing Reports : J.R.'s Marina

go out to the main river channel and fish the ledges with minnows around 14 foot. You should find them scattered on the ledges
