I sure hope so, I've got one one my boat. Seems to be working OK.
Can a water seperator filter be used with pre-mixed fuel? I know that they are used on alot of the new boats with 4-strokes and fuel injected engines. I just didn't know if the oil would be stripped away or clog the filter. Just thought it would be good insurance for my little Yamahammer.
Thanks

Yes and motor manufacturers recommend them.

Yep, no worries. Mount between tank and the bulb.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
It just may be my cynical nature but if the manufacturers think it is a good idea just why wouldn't they put them on in the first place.
Wounder which it is are they trying to sell another motor or are they trying to give the local dealers more business in their maintenance shops.???
Some things just seem so simple to my simple mind.

Why mount it between the tank and ball?
Why mount it between the tank and ball? may I ask?
Well... because Frank G. told me too Seriously, he is a very respected
boat rigger up in the area where I got my boat, and I called and asked him
when I put one on. I believe it is also a filter, so keeping
trash out of the check-ball on the bulb would be one good thing about having
it between tank and bulb.

Most motor manufacturers recommend one. But most are not going to spend the extra for one.
I think with the 10% mix, We need one even more now.
