Bucksaw Flats

[Just Jiggin]

Mrs JJ and I hit the flats around Bucksaw this morning and they gave up another quick limit :D We were done, fish cleaned and on the way home by noon Couldn't get bit on jigs so went back to minnows - Mrs JJ tipped her minnows with nibbles - still fishing 10 ft deep in 10-15 ft water

Ran into Shockley32 at the ramp and his group went up the river. Not sure how they did

Also saw Crappie Novice and Mr Novice at marina. They came to the same area but didn't stay long. Where did you guys go? How did you do?

Nice fish. Heard from another guy that was around Bucksaw that hammered them also. Sounds like it was the place to be.

JJ,

We did alright for a couple of rookies. We ended up with 14 by 11:00, most were over 1 pound. We found the fish in 10-14' of water 10' deep in the middle of cedars.
