    Default Bucksaw Trip with PoleBender

Had a great time Saturday fishing with PoleBender, Mrs JJ and with Richard Bowling as guide . As PoleBender has already stated we kept 46 LARGE slabs - we would have had our limit but PoleBender was late getting to the ramp so I am sure he cost us at least 15 It was fun just to fish and not have to tend to the boat.

Then Sunday we went out fishing with Richard but more as fun and not as guide and found some new areas to try for the tournament next weekend. We only fished until 1 and ended up with 19.

16 ft deep - dead minnows - main lake points

From this point forward JJ will be known as Gilligan, and why didn't you have on your hat today little Bubby?:D Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!! By the way why is your face so red? Is that a sun burn or are you straining from the weight of the fish????:D

Looks like a good mess of fish to me. I'm starting to feel the pressure from the famous J.J's.

No famous people here:D. Just lucky some times.
We have fished with Richard alot but its been worth it. He has taught us alot about the lake and were to run & not to run. The fishing is always lots of fun but the knowledge of runnig the lake is priceless. I'm feeling more confortable everytime we go. Maybe someone could get us up Tebo sometime.
Long Poler I beleave you had bigger fish over the weekend. Looking forward to meeting you.

The Tebo arm is a hard one to learn.I have ran it for years and still get turned around and loose the channel.Hit more stumps in that area than i care to remember. But it can be well worth the trip at certain times of the year.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Way to go JJ's & Polebender......Nice!!....Guess were gonna start fishing on the weekend! Do you catch many between 11am--5pm? Thought maybe early, and later was best.
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

There was a pretty strong current around the Long Shoal area on Saturday.
