Springfork Revisited

Fished Springfork yesterday morning and caught a few. Only fished for about 2 1/2 hours....on the lake at 7 and off the water around 9:30. Probably caught 80 or so crappie and big gills. Took home 20 gills and 17 crappie. Caught another big redear....measured 11 1/4". Took pics with phone. This is the only one with quality good enough to post. Quality is still bad but I think you can see it was a fun time.

Thats a good stringer of fish. Where are you going in Fla ? We went to FT Walton in may lots for fun & great seafood.

Doing our yearly jaunt to some of my old stompin grounds. Panama City Beach is our destination. Some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. We always have a great time.

Haven't been to Truman lately, my friend. Springfork and Kansas wallys have kind of caught my interest. I plan on hitting her quite a bit after we get back from Florida. Let's do a trip or two. What do ya say? I have recently heard of a small MDC lake within 70 miles of here that is supposed to harbor some very large crappie. I won't divulge the name till I try it out. The person who told me about it may have been BSing me. Look for a future post.
